70,000 tourists left Himachal Pradesh as a result of the monsoon storm’s evacuation efforts.

The operation to remove tourists who were stuck in Himachal Pradesh as a result of flash floods was successful.

Around 70,000 tourists had been safely evacuated, according to state chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, while 500 tourists had voluntarily chosen to remain in the state. He stated that they were being looked after and given food and other necessities. The operation to remove tourists who were stuck in Himachal Pradesh as a result of flash floods was successful.

“The state government gave tourists’ safety a top priority. Large-scale rescue efforts were launched in the flood-affected areas, and they were successfully accomplished with everyone’s help. From Himachal, some 15,000 cars have been dispatched, according to the CM. 80 percent of the areas devastated by the crisis now have access to electricity, water, and mobile phone service, he claimed.

He claimed that initiatives were being made to quickly restore vital services in the remaining locations. The CM commended the populace, federal and state government organizations, the NDRF, the Army, etc. for carrying out the rescue and evacuation operations successfully.
