Gandikota – India’s very own Grand Canyon. Formed by Pennar river cut through the tough rocks, this gorge looks like multi layered cake. This Million year old evolution stands totally isolated with only birds chirping and wind whistling noise. Trek along the unexplored trail through the bushes and witness what many frequenters would have witnessed till now.
Belum caves – Formed million years ago due to erosion by an underground river. Discovered by an British explorer in 19th century, only by 20th century it was mapped by Germans.A total 3.5kms of the cave have been explored but 1.5km is open for public.The cave at its deepest point is around 150 ft from the ground level,wherein a small hot is rivulet flowing.Venture through the spooky parts of the stalactites caves, guided by the wavy walls and artificial lights which makes it perfect for picture background. The Belum cave system is the second largest cave system in the Indian subcontinent coming second only to the ‘Krem Liat Prah’ caves in Meghalaya.
